Naughty Blogger Choose A More Reasonable Way

Dani* (27), a member of the blogger group on Facebook with whom I chatted, said that he has his own way of earning money from Google Adsense. “If the normal method is called White Hat, and the naughty method is called Black Hat, then what I use seems to be suitable as Gray Hat. I'm not violating Adsense policies, but on the other hand I'm trying to get clicks.”

Dani explains that he leverages the Pinterest network to bring traffic to his blog. “I upload sexy photos on Pinterest, and if I click on the photo, it will go to my blog full of ad banners. Now, all you have to do is find a way to make traffic from Pinterest read organically so it's safe."

Apart from using Pinterest, Dani also likes to create ads on FacebookAds to bring in traffic. “FB Ads are cheap. In the right way, we can bring in organic-readable traffic from all over the world. Of course which country we are after. After getting traffic, it is very likely that the ads I put here and there will be clicked either intentionally or not.” Dani added, "Most likely the ad was clicked on purpose, hahaha."

The trick that Dani uses is more popularly called FbAds to Adsense. A simple game that in economics is called arbitrage, a practice of profiting from price differences that occur between two financial markets. Arbitrage, in the blogging world, can be done by advertising our blog articles on advertiser networks that are cheaper than Google Adsnese, then hoping to benefit from Google Adsense installed on our blogs. One of the most efficient inexpensive advertiser networks today is the FBAds network.

“Yes, arbitration,” Dani replied when I spoke about the practice. “My income is not as crazy as playing a VPN or renting a service. Per month I only get six million at most.”

However, according to Dani, even though what he did was not categorized as naughty or cheating, he still had anticipation by setting aside money to buy a Google Adsense account. "All of that is basically one, you have to be ready to be banned and buy a new account."
