The dark side of the Partipost application that you must know
Many influencers are increasingly wary of using Partipost, and for good reason. The platform, which promises opportunities for influencers to collaborate with brands, has often left creators frustrated, disappointed, and even exploited.
One influencer shared a particularly disheartening experience with us. He explained that the content he submitted through the Partipost application had been approved, and he eagerly reshared and posted it. A few days later, he uploaded the insight content as required by Partipost, and once again, it was approved. Everything seemed to be going smoothly.
But weeks later, he was stunned to receive a notification: his content had been rejected by the brand. Confused and frustrated, he reached out to friends for support. “My friends cheered me up,” he said. “They told me it was just a stroke of bad luck.”
The reality, however, is far more troubling. Many brands appear to use influencers to promote their products for free. They pretend to approve content, only to refuse payment after the posts go live. Influencers put in time, creativity, and effort, often going above and beyond to share their posts and stories across WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, Instagram communities, and Telegram channels—all to ensure maximum visibility for the brand. Yet their hard work often goes completely unrewarded.
On top of this, Partipost has a notoriously slow payout process. Influencers can wait for months before receiving payment, even after the content has been approved. Deadlines pass, and updates are continuously postponed—from October to December, then to January—while the influencers themselves often have already purchased products to fulfill the campaigns. The combination of long approval times, delayed payouts, and sudden rejections leaves many creators feeling exploited and disheartened.
This system demonstrates a troubling lack of respect for influencers’ labor. Partipost markets itself as a bridge between brands and influencers, but in reality, it often functions as a platform where brands benefit from free promotion while influencers bear the costs and risks.
For many creators, the experience is a harsh reminder that their time, effort, and creativity have real value, and any platform that disregards that value can be detrimental to their careers and financial stability.
