Former child artist and politician, Puput Novel, passed away

 

Former child artist and politician, Puput Novel, passed away on Sunday (8/9/2024). Puput Novel's younger sibling said that the deceased passed away after battling breast cancer and other complications.

Puput Novel's younger sibling, Baginda, said that his sister had been battling breast cancer since 2021.

"We have tried our best to get treatment but fate has decided otherwise," said Baginda, at the funeral home, Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Sunday (8/9/2024) night. She fought against her breast cancer, that's how it ended," he continued.

Baginda looked calm when recounting the latest health condition of the singer whose full name is Putri Zizi Novianti. She said that when undergoing the last medical procedure, Puput Novel's condition had deteriorated.

"It's been more or less 3 years of treatment, I saw that her condition had deteriorated during the last medical procedure. Yes, actually I have prepared a little, but yes it is true as expected because her condition has really declined," he said.

In addition to breast cancer, the doctor also diagnosed complications in Puput Novel. "So there are complications in her heart and lungs," said Baginda.

Several of Puput Novel's fellow artists paid their respects at the funeral home last night. Nia Daniaty and Henry Yosodiningrat were seen among the mourners.

Puput Novel's body is planned to be buried today at around 9:00 WIB at the Sanjaya Public Cemetery, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
