Spiderman blissfully treated the journey as a romantic mini-honeymoon. For Barbie Girl, however, it was the beginning of a grueling mission: finding a local financial sponsor. Upon their return, she desperately turned to various Facebook groups for foreigners married to Malaysians, seeking someone willing to help them. But bad luck struck again. Yet, even during their departure, Spiderman’s manipulation continued. He foolishly insisted on weighing her bag at the terminal, forcing Barbie Girl to waste 30,000 rupiah for the service. The moment they reached the baggage area, Spiderman immediately demanded the bag back. It felt like a deliberate, petty act designed solely to drain her money and energy.

The sheer injustice of the situation weighed heavily on her. While Barbie Girl was being bled dry, Marry, the Filipina maid, was living like royalty in the Philippines. By weaponizing a single child fathered by her own cousin, she had successfully extorted a fortune from multiple men.
